According to IDCs latest industry acceleration survey, workforce optimisation and transformation is the most prevalent business priorities for Nordic organisations this year, and specifically in the professional services industry 70% of organisations plan on investing in agile work environment solutions.

Cloud is key for establishing a modern digital workplace, as solutions are built for remote work, and new functions and features are first – or only – available in the cloud. Moreover, it provides more flexibility than traditionally deployed solutions. This is particularly relevant for the professional services industry and other project-based businesses, as flexibility and collaboration is critical for the daily work.

The market for ERP and production applications in the Nordics is at a tipping point. This year, the market will tip in favour of cloud – i.e. more than 50% of the market value will be for public cloud services. This trend will continue the coming years, as companies continue to shift spending to the cloud.
