Platinum Partner Keynote: Leading the New Manufacturing Order with ‘Neural Manufacturing’
Sreenivasa Chakravarti
Vice President, Manufacturing Business Practice, TCS
|
The
future of manufacturing is 'Neural'. Inspired from biological neural systems,
TCS defines 'Neural Manufacturing' as an intensely networked set of partners
aligned to a common purpose, where the value chains are responsive, adaptive,
and personalized, with intelligence built on the 'edge' of the networks.
To
step up in the 'New Manufacturing Order' that will arise when the equilibrium
is regained after the pandemic’s impact, enterprises will have to focus on
being agile, intelligent and insights driven.
In
this keynote address by TCS’ Sreenivasa Chakravarti, he will explain why and
how future enterprises would need to restructure themselves to build:
- Connected, collaborative and cognitive capabilities to drive new
purpose driven ‘ecosystem’ centric business models
- Autonomous operations which help the organization to engage with
‘smart connected products & assets’ in real time by eliminating the
‘interface’ friction
- Adaptive capabilities that help manage the variability
introduced by the move from mass to lean to personalized mass

Platinum Partner Keynote: NOKIA > Driving Industry 4.0 Ecosystems Now
Robert Fröhler
Innovation Specialist NOK Nokia Operations, Digitalization and Automation
|
Conscious Factory in a Box (FiaB) is
a Nokia Operations innovation program, launched in 2017, to prove that a complete
SMD production line can be integrated in modular containers. Today, the program
is also being leveraged to develop the Future X architecture of Nokia’s
in-house conscious supply network. The current project operates in co-creation
mode, which means that we established the showroom FiaB for industry 4.0
solutions together with our partner ecosystem. In this setting, Nokia assumes
responsibility for orchestrating the incubation releases. |

Delivering Superior Customer Value and Promoting Advocacy through Ecosystem Services
The shift in the value proposition, from production activities to
the fulfillment of customer demand over complete product usage life cycle has
necessitated manufacturers to focus on new business models through which
superior customer experience can be created and delivered, while ensuring an
equivalent focus on monetary value creation.
TCS’ ‘Neural Manufacturing’ thinking articulates that
the future ecosystems will be built around customer centric services. For
manufacturers to participate and lead in this future, services portfolio gains
immense significance. In this panel discussion, two customer CXOs will discuss
with TCS, their organization’s journey to achieving superior customer
satisfaction through services.
