Platinum Partner Keynote: Leading the New Manufacturing Order with ‘Neural Manufacturing’

Sreenivasa Chakravarti
Vice President, Manufacturing Business Practice, TCS

The future of manufacturing is 'Neural'. Inspired from biological neural systems, TCS defines 'Neural Manufacturing' as an intensely networked set of partners aligned to a common purpose, where the value chains are responsive, adaptive, and personalized, with intelligence built on the 'edge' of the networks.

To step up in the 'New Manufacturing Order' that will arise when the equilibrium is regained after the pandemic’s impact, enterprises will have to focus on being agile, intelligent and insights driven.

In this keynote address by TCS’ Sreenivasa Chakravarti, he will explain why and how future enterprises would need to restructure themselves to build:

- Connected, collaborative and cognitive capabilities to drive new purpose driven ‘ecosystem’ centric business models

- Autonomous operations which help the organization to engage with ‘smart connected products & assets’ in real time by eliminating the ‘interface’ friction

- Adaptive capabilities that help manage the variability introduced by the move from mass to lean to personalized mass customization
